Distressed and Chic

You can wear distressed denim and still look polished. Be it skinny, boyfriend or cropped, ripped jeans are a hot denim trend.

Last night we took distressed denim to a new level at the launch of the new River Island store at Sandton City. And yes, it was a coincidence!

Phathu redefined chic in light washed ripped boyfriend jean, an oversized black top, chunky necklace, a black coat and an oversized bag to complete the look.

Mili sizzled in dark blue ripped skinny jeanss, a black and white body suit, black boyfriend blazer and and a pair of pale pink heels.

Suited up

Sometimes we borrow from the boys and suit up – tastefully, of course. When suiting up, it’s important to choose a suit that’s perfectly tailored so you look amazing and just, well, stylish.

Phathu took monochrome to another level when she donned this white suit with a sheer black blouse and nude heels. As usual, her accessories were kept to a minimum, opting for a white leather skinny belt and drop earrings. So trendy!

Not one to shy away from colour, Mili worked her burnt orange double-breasted suit with a black and white top, pale pink heels and a red clutch.

We love classic black pants

A wardrobe essential for every season is a pair of classic black pants. It’s the building block to almost any look, PLUS it does wonders for your figure.

Dress it up, down or go corporate chic, like Mili did. She wore hers with a pair of cobalt suede heels, black shirt and grey knit jersey.

She kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing only a chunky beaded neckpiece to let the pants be the centre of attention.

All things knitwear!

Chilly days are here, stay warm and look stylish in knitwear this winter. Mili wore her oversized black and white knit jersey with black thick stockings, block heels, a white shirt, as well as a leather mini. The accessories were kept to a minimum: gold studs and a black pendant. Her hair was tied in a high bun, which made this look quite chic.

Tip: Wear this season’s knits with skinny jeans, leggings, jeggings or even jumpers for the ultimate warm and comfy look.
