On a predictable day, I‘m a casual chicstress. Staples like white tops, jeans and LBDs have found a happy home in my closet.
When in doubt, I pop neutral colours – black and white know me by name. I’m that girl with the same top in three colours – goes a long way. Far as accessories go, I‘m no miser; I pile them on like it’s going out of fashion.
Layering is one great way to fuel the rumour that one ‘has clothes’. If I ever need a personal shopper to hunt for bargains, I’m my girl. Two things: 1, you’re never overdressed and 2, always keep a boot full of hot heels!
If it’s loud, bold and comfy, I am definitely buying it. I love my dresses. Seriously, give me dresses and skirts any day and I’m a happy girly.
My style is feisty, yet comfortable and definitely mine. I buy things that are on trend but mix and match them according to my mood.
When it comes to my high heels, the higher the heel the better. My heels have to make a statement, as do my jeans. Well, all my clothes really – they have to speak to me. I don’t care for designer labels. I know I can rock any outfit because I’ll give it my flavour.
Practical, stylish without effort, and following in the footsteps of the fashion pack are some of the words I use to describe my brogues.
I’ve always been a lover of heels but a recent injury had me reassessing my relationship with heels and giving brogues a second look.
Today I stepped out in a lovely brown leather pair of Foschini brogues which I wore with a black A-line dress and a fur gilet pull over for that glam effect.
Do you own a pair of brogues, tag us and show us how you wear your pair of brogues.

You can wear distressed denim and still look polished. Be it skinny, boyfriend or cropped, ripped jeans are a hot denim trend.
Last night we took distressed denim to a new level at the launch of the new River Island store at Sandton City. And yes, it was a coincidence!
Phathu redefined chic in light washed ripped boyfriend jean, an oversized black top, chunky necklace, a black coat and an oversized bag to complete the look.
Mili sizzled in dark blue ripped skinny jeanss, a black and white body suit, black boyfriend blazer and and a pair of pale pink heels.

Sometimes we borrow from the boys and suit up – tastefully, of course. When suiting up, it’s important to choose a suit that’s perfectly tailored so you look amazing and just, well, stylish.
Phathu took monochrome to another level when she donned this white suit with a sheer black blouse and nude heels. As usual, her accessories were kept to a minimum, opting for a white leather skinny belt and drop earrings. So trendy!
Not one to shy away from colour, Mili worked her burnt orange double-breasted suit with a black and white top, pale pink heels and a red clutch.
Our tip: Mix and match stylish pieces for the best pairing.

When it comes to make-up, nothing rivals the power of a bold lip. Gorgeous lips elevate your outfit, and make a statement. Phathu and I both love bold lipsticks.
A wardrobe essential for every season is a pair of classic black pants. It’s the building block to almost any look, PLUS it does wonders for your figure.
Dress it up, down or go corporate chic, like Mili did. She wore hers with a pair of cobalt suede heels, black shirt and grey knit jersey.
She kept her accessories to a minimum, wearing only a chunky beaded neckpiece to let the pants be the centre of attention.
