Pleated skirts are a classic look any girl can rock to practically anywhere. Agreed? We love our navy pleated midi skirts from Foschini. The black and white sports elasticated waistband adds an edge to it, yum. It’s also perfect if the sports luxe trend is your thing. Midi skirts are great transitional items – really easy to wear. Jersey, shirt, crop top, vest – if you can name it, you can wear it.
ROCKING THE PLEATS
Phathu (http://instagram.com/phathumusitha) kept the top part dark, opting for a black vest and a sheer black sleeveless shirt, which she tied by the waist. A pair of pointy nude heels were ideal to break the dark colours. Jewellery was kept at a minimum (yes, minimum to Phathu ;-)) and a long hanging gold necklace did the trick. Talk about a simple but effective office look.
Mili (http://instagram.com/milirazzi) contrasted her look with a light wash denim shirt. She also wore a blue beaded neckpiece and light blue studs. For an exquisite needed lift, her leather and suede navy leather ankle boots, also from Foschini, came in handy. This look goes down as one of Mili’s ‘look good, feel good looks’ of the year so far.
